Privacy policy
BirdSpirit (“we” or the “operator”) explains below what information is processed to provide PixelNono and the choices available to you. Contact us about privacy at kyuminchoerp@gmail.com.
At a glance. PixelNono works without an account and saves puzzle progress on your device. It uses Google services for advertising and remote settings. Gameplay analytics is off by default and is enabled only when you turn it on. Turning off analytics does not stop all processing needed for advertising or remote settings.
Contents
1. Information stored on your device
The app stores puzzle progress and saved boards, best times and stars, hint balances, daily and streak records, tutorial state, and gameplay records used for adaptive recommendations. Sound, vibration and display preferences, reminder times, analytics choices, and information used to manage ad rewards and frequency are also stored on the device.
This information supports progress restoration, game rewards, adaptive progression, duplicate-reward prevention and reminders. The app does not provide accounts or cloud progress synchronization. If you enable usage analytics, some gameplay measurements described in section 3 are sent to Google Analytics.
The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number or payment information to play. It does not request access to contacts, your photo library, microphone, camera or precise GPS location.
2. Advertising and privacy choices
We use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) to support the free game. Supported formats include banner, interstitial, optional rewarded and app-open ads; actual display depends on operational settings and your use of the app. Rewarded ads are offered when you choose benefits such as hints or continuing a puzzle.
Advertising services may collect or share the following for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention:
- IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them
- App launches and interactions such as ad impressions, taps and video views
- Diagnostic and performance information about the app and advertising service
- Device or app identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID, and where applicable identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device
The processing that applies depends on your region, device settings, privacy choices and Google's ad delivery methods. We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check applicable privacy choices and present a form when required. When privacy options are available for your region and status, you can reopen them in the app's Settings. Ads are requested after ad requests are allowed.
Restricting personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ad-related processing. See Google's advertising SDK data disclosure and Google's advertising privacy information.
3. Optional usage analytics
If you enable Share usage analytics in Settings, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to improve the game. This setting is off by default and separate from advertising privacy choices. You can play without enabling it.
After you opt in, gameplay measurements include level number, board size and attempts; completion, elapsed time, mistakes and fill ratio; hint and continue usage; ad offers and rewards; daily puzzle date and streak; and use of the picture-sharing feature. We use these measurements to understand and improve puzzle difficulty and the play experience.
Analytics may also process an app-instance ID, automatic events such as app launches, screens and sessions, and approximate location and device/app information. PixelNono disables advertising ID collection by Analytics and does not assign its own user ID. This does not disable AdMob's advertising processing. See Google Analytics data disclosure for more information.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings. This stops subsequent optional analytics collection; it is not the same as deleting data already sent.
4. Remote settings and content
Firebase Remote Config supplies operational settings such as ad frequency, rewards and level order. It works independently of optional usage analytics. Firebase processes an installation ID and information such as country, language, time zone, OS/platform and app/SDK versions to provide these settings.
When additional puzzle content is offered, the app may download files from a configured server using HTTPS. That server may process the request's IP address and ordinary access information. The download feature does not upload your full saved puzzle boards. If a connection fails, the app uses included content and valid existing settings. See Firebase's data disclosure.
6. Your controls and deletion options
- Usage analytics: turn off Share usage analytics in the app's Settings.
- Advertising privacy: review your choices when Privacy options is shown in the app. You can also manage advertising ID settings through Android.
- Reminders: turn them off in the app or in Android notification settings.
- Reset progress: reset puzzle progress from the app's Settings. This does not erase all app data. Operational settings, content, records of previously delivered ad rewards, general preferences and advertising-service information may remain.
- Local app data: clear storage in Android's app information screen or uninstall the app. Saved progress may not be recoverable. Manage pictures already shared to other apps within those apps.
These actions do not immediately erase all information already sent to Google or other service providers. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions, email kyuminchoerp@gmail.com. We will explain the appropriate process based on the requested information, the relevant service and what we can identify. Because there is no app account that identifies you, some records may be difficult to associate with the person making a request.
7. Retention and protection
Game progress remains on the device while needed for app functions, subject to the reset, clear-storage and uninstall options above and to the device's storage management. Support information is processed as needed to respond to the request and resolve related issues.
Retention and deletion of advertising, analytics and installation information processed by Google depend on the relevant service's policies and applicable settings. Local records and Google service data do not have the same retention period. The provider links below describe their processing; you can also contact us for questions.
Advertising and analytics services use TLS for transmission, and the app's additional-content downloads use HTTPS. Android access controls protect the app's local storage. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
8. Providers and international processing
PixelNono uses Google services for advertising, privacy-choice management, analytics and remote settings. This support website is configured for Firebase Hosting. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, under the providers' policies and applicable safeguards.
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services
- Firebase privacy and security
- Google Analytics privacy and security
Where offered, the advertising privacy form lists relevant partners and processing purposes. External sharing apps and email services you choose have their own policies.
9. Children and age
PixelNono is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not intentionally ask children under 13 to provide personal information. Contact us if you have a concern about processing a child's information. We will review the circumstances and requirements applicable to the user's region.
10. Website and policy changes
This website does not include additional advertising or analytics tracking code, external fonts or a registration form. The hosting service may process technical information such as an IP address to deliver pages and maintain security. When you open an external link, that website's policy applies.
If app features or information processing change, we will update this page and its revision date. Additional notices will be provided through the app or this website when needed.
